Fostering a culture of belonging
MultiCare is committed to establishing and fostering a true culture of belonging. Our organizational values — respect, integrity, stewardship, excellence, collaboration, kindness and joy — guide this work.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy life in a safe, supportive community that embody equity and belonging.
In line with these beliefs, MultiCare launched the Belonging Advisory Council (BAC) in 2020. The BAC consists of champion employees and volunteers from across the system committed to guiding and furthering MultiCare’s internal workforce diversity efforts as we seek to become a more equitable and inclusive organization where everyone feels they genuinely belong.
As we continue our belonging journey, we seek to build a diverse workforce reflective of the communities we serve, and to learn from that workforce.
