Letter from the Chair

Welcome to the 2024 Mary Bridge Children’s Festival of Trees!

Rejoining all of you for another year fills me with an indescribable sense of joy and anticipation. As we gather once again, I’m deeply honored to resume my role as this year’s event chair. Being a native of the Puget Sound region and someone who has personally experienced the care at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, I’m immensely proud that our community is helping build one of the most advanced children’s hospitals in the nation.

Festival’s heart beats in rhythm with past, current and future Mary Bridge Children’s patients and the incredible stories that weave through their journeys. These stories, akin to beloved children’s tales, brim with compassion, optimism and, more often than not, a dose of magic. In this spirit, we’ve chosen the theme, “Magic Lives Here” for the 2024 edition of our beloved Festival.

I’m humbled to follow in the footsteps of remarkable individuals who have chaired this event before me and left an enduring mark on Mary Bridge Children’s. I have no doubt that our community alongside our dedicated volunteers and families will come together to write another beautiful chapter this December.

To those who are new to Festival and to those who have been steadfast supporters of Mary Bridge Children’s for years, your presence and contributions are the cornerstone of our success. Together, we’re the authors of hope and healing.

With love and gratitude,

Miles Eaton, 2024 Festival event chair
