MultiCare Honored with ACP Awards

SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare physicians Dr. Matt Hollon, Dr. Meghan Roberts and Dr. Rachel Safran were recently recognized by the Washington Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Dr. Hollon, an internal medicine doctor with MultiCare Rockwood Clinic, received the 2022 Laureate Award, which is viewed as one of the highest awards given by the ACP. Dr. Hollon is well-regarded by his colleagues and received this award in recognition of his exemplary conduct and commitment to excellence in medical care in internal medicine.

Dr. Roberts was named Hospitalist of the Year for excellence in clinical skills, dedication to her patients, enthusiasm for medical practice and leadership. She has been an innovator in decreasing a patient’s length of stay and minimizing costs, with a steadfast belief in creating greater access to care.

Dr. Safran, an internal medicine doctor with MultiCare Rockwood Clinic, earned the ACP’s Golden Apple Award. This award recognizes her significant contributions to medical education in the Inland Northwest community. In 2018, the ACP also awarded Dr. Safran with the Community Service Award.
