MultiCare Health System includes inpatient and outpatient facilities, encompassing eleven adult hospitals, one pediatric hospital, and numerous primary care and specialty clinics throughout the Pacific Northwest. The MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation has offices throughout the system that provide patients across our service area access to cutting-edge clinical trials. Each Research Institute site contains equipment for use in our clinical studies, including:
- Available pathology and laboratory services
- Centrifuge and refrigerated centrifuge
- Crash cart
- Dedicated and secure research refrigerators
- ECG machines
- Imaging services, including CT, MRI, PET, DEXA and X-ray scans
- Locked room for investigational product with restricted access
- Phlebotomy areas
- Temperature-controlled minus 20 F and minus 70 F freezers with alarms, along with access to dry ice
- Urine processing area
