L. Abigail Tan, MD

L. Abigail Tan, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician with a primary focus on the health of women. She comes from a background working with underserved populations from refugee camps in the Middle East to a rural clinic in the Navajo nation. She has special interests in diabetes, pelvic floor health, and obesity management. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and adventuring with her young daughter.

My goal as a provider is to partner with my patients to give them the tools and information to enable them to make the best choices for their health and lifestyle. My training and experiences give me the medical expertise, but patients come to me with knowledge and expertise of their bodies and their lives. The patient visit then becomes this amazing and dynamic collaboration between us on how to best apply what we each know in order to support their health care goals.
