There were very few cases of flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) \u2014 a common respiratory virus that most commonly effects children under 1 year old \u2014 during last year\u2019s respiratory season. This was likely due to widespread masking, physical distancing, capacity restrictions and other steps being taken around the world to reduce the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Many of those measures have come to an end. What might that mean for this year\u2019s cold and flu season?<\/p>\n
