National Voter Registration Day<\/strong><\/a>, a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy, is Sept. 16.<\/strong> Getting registered to vote \u2014 or confirming your voter registration details \u2014 is the first step in preparing for the upcoming election.<\/p>\n

In November, Americans across the country will cast their ballots to determine the outcomes of many state and local races. The general election is also an opportunity to weigh in on important ballot measures that affect your community.<\/p>\n
