When you step into a hospital or health care facility, one of the first things you might notice is cleanliness. Are the floors free of dirt and debris? Have waste baskets been emptied? Do tabletops and other surfaces look spotless?<\/p>\n

MultiCare\u2019s Environmental Services (EVS) team ensures our facilities, from patient rooms to operating rooms, are clean, disinfected and ready for use every day. Yet cleaning isn\u2019t just about making an area look tidy \u2014 EVS professionals follow meticulous, evidence-based protocols to prevent the spread of infection.<\/p>\n
