Capital improvements
In 2023, we invested over $294 million in capital replacements and improvements in our facilities and the communities we serve:
• Made significant investments in facilities, equipment and an electronic health record and technology infrastructure at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital and in our Yakima region clinics
• Implemented a modern enterprise resource planning system to allow us to continue to scale our services and expand access to care
• Continued construction on the new MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital
• Opened an off-campus emergency department in Lacey
• Expanded access to care in communities across the Pacific Northwest by opening five new Indigo Urgent Care clinics, including our first clinic in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
