Bringing health care to students!

A collaboration between Tacoma Family Medicine and East Pierce Family Medicine residencies

Created as a partnership between Tacoma Public Schools and MultiCare, the MultiCare Health Clinic – Mount Tahoma High School provides health care services to all TPS students. In collaboration between Tacoma Family Medicine, East Pierce Family Medicine residencies and the APP Fellowship, the MultiCare Health Clinic provides preventative care as well as treatment for illnesses and injuries and mental health support.

  • Tacoma Family Medicine residents staff the school-based health center (SBHC) at Mt. Tahoma High School every week
  • ​Services at the clinic include primary care, prenatal care, pediatrics, behavioral health, and chronic disease management
  • We offer contraception counseling to students, and perform same-day Nexplanon insertion procedure under the supervision of our faculty
