Sub-Internship Program

TFM offers a 4-week family medicine sub-internship consisting of 2 weeks on the Family Medicine Inpatient med/peds service, and 2 weeks of OB experience matched with a senior resident.Ā  We encourage our sub-interns to function as much like interns as possible, taking on the role of their patientsā€™ primary physician and learning to make management decisions with the support of senior residents and faculty.

Dates for our sub-internship take place in spring and fall. Ā Rotations are arranged by sending a completed Student Interview Sheet, along with a current CV, to Dr. Kate Landy via email at [email protected].

A phone interview or follow up email may follow occur if our faculty have any questions that need clarifying concerning whether the applicant is an appropriate match. Applicants are then reviewed by the faculty and the student is notified of the final decision.

Once a clerkship has been approved, you will receive information for completing the necessary administrative requirements with MultiCareā€™s GME Program Coordinator.Ā
