Watch: What to expect this flu season

There were very few cases of flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) — a common respiratory virus that most commonly effects children under 1 year old — during last year’s respiratory season. This was likely due to widespread masking, physical distancing, capacity restrictions and other steps being taken around the world to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Many of those measures have come to an end. What might that mean for this year’s cold and flu season?
