Pulse Heart Institute welcomes Heart Clinics Northwest physicians and staff
MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is excited to announce an expansion of services in the Inland Northwest (INW) as we welcome physicians and staff from Kootenai’s highly-respected Heart Clinics Northwest to our team. This expansion will allow MultiCare and the Pulse Heart Institute to continue providing essential care during the COVID-19 pandemic and well into the future.
In August 2020, 10 physicians and many of the Heart Clinics Northwest staff will join the Pulse Heart Institute, nearly doubling its size in the INW. Presently in the INW, the Pulse Heart Institute has 13 physicians and a full complement of staff providing excellent care to the Spokane area.
“Pulse is committed to putting the patient at the center of everything we do and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome such a talented group of partners to join our team and the medical staffs at MultiCare Deaconess and Valley hospitals,” said Dr. Needham Ward, Chief Medical Officer for Pulse.
Additionally, this expansion will allow for growth in geographic reach and the ability of the Pulse Heart Institute to serve more patients in Spokane County, along with those in Coeur d’ Alene, Lewiston, Colfax, Ritzville, Colville, Grand Coulee, Davenport, Enterprise, and Walla Walla.
“This is an exciting day for a lot of us at Heart Clinics Northwest,” said Dr. Stephen Thew, from Heart Clinics Northwest. “The Pulse Heart Institute at MultiCare has built a reputation for high-quality care. By joining their team, we will give people across the region access to some of the most sophisticated facilities and treatments available.”
