Good Samaritan Hospital Ambassador

The main entrance needs volunteers to commit to 4-hour shifts Sundays through Saturdays between the hours of 5am – 8pm.

Good Samaritan Hospital Surgical Waiting Areas

Be the host and provide a welcoming environment on a stressful day!

• Provide kindness and care to patient families waiting during surgical procedures
• Assist staff in providing updates
• Keep the waiting area neat and tidy
• Help discharge patients after procedures.

We are looking for consistent people to serve a 4-hour shift once a week.  There are open shifts M-F during business hours.

Tacoma General Discharge Lounge Volunteer

Tacoma General is seeking volunteers to support our patients, and staff as a Discharge Lounge volunteer. This assignment requires outstanding customer service. This includes being attentive, caring, patient, and responsive.

• Transport patients from room to Discharge Lounge
• Position requires the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and operate a wheelchair

Tacoma General Supply Chain

Tacoma General is seeking volunteers to support our patients, families, and staff in our Supply Chain department. This assignment requires outstanding customer service skills and is a highly mobile position.

• Unpack deliveries, organize product, fill orders
• Deliver supplies to departments
• Assist with equipment round up (gurneys, stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs)
• Assist with patient discharge.

*Must be 18 years or older
