Job Shadowing

Puget Sound, Yakima & Inland Northwest Region

• Job Shadow applications are only available to active MultiCare Volunteers.
  • The volunteer must complete 60-hours out of the 100 (125) hours at MultiCare, prior to requesting a Job Shadow.
  • Job Shadows must be pre-arranged by the volunteer.
• Active volunteers who have identified a staff member willing to mentor their job shadow can email, Harleen Kaur for Puget Sound & Yakima Region or Jennifer Tucker for Inland Northwest to begin the process.
• Volunteer Services helps process but does not coordinate or schedule pre-arranged job shadows for active volunteers.
• Volunteers may not shadow a family member.
• Job shadows are observation only and limited to 12-hours per occurrence. No clinical or hands on patient interaction.
