TACOMA, Wash. — MultiCare Health System has named Tim Lynch its new senior vice president of clinical services.
Lynch joined MultiCare in 2019 and previously served as the regional health system’s vice president of clinical services and chief pharmacy officer. He is a respected leader with a history of developing and implementing strategies for health systems and optimizing performance for pharmacy and clinical support service departments.
In his new role, Lynch will lead MultiCare’s clinical services strategic vision, while providing oversight and direction. While at MultiCare, he has played a critical role in implementing systemwide pharmacy supply chain management and ensuring the success of program objectives.
Prior to joining MultiCare, Lynch previously led pharmacy, clinical and ancillary support services at organizations such as CHI Franciscan Health, Catholic Health Initiatives and Common Spirit. Lynch is a current member of the Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission and immediate past chair. Lynch graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s in pharmacy science as well as a pharmacy PhD. He also received a master’s in healthcare administration management from Troy University.
