What kind of appointment do you need?

New Patients

MultiCare provides personalized care for you and your family through all stages of life. Book online or call to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment today for primary, specialty or urgent care.

Current Patients

Use the MyChart patient portal to schedule an in-person primary care appointment, message your provider, refill prescriptions and more. To schedule a virtual visit for primary or specialty care, please call the clinic where you receive care.

How to schedule your appointment online

For patients who haven’t been seen by a MultiCare provider in three years or are seeking care from a new provider, follow these steps:

  1. Find a provider that is accepting new patients and offers online scheduling
  2. Select the Schedule Online button from their web profile
  3. Select Book Now and answer on-screen questions to schedule a new patient

You’re considered a returning patient if you have visited your provider in the last three years or less.

Many types of appointments can be scheduled in MyChart including adult physicals*, well-child visits (infants and youth up to age 18), visits to address health concerns, medication management, follow-up appointments and more. Follow these steps to schedule your appointment:

  1. Log in to MyChart
  2. Navigate to the Visits
  3. Select the Schedule an appointment
  4. Select the type of appointment you wish to schedule and answer on-screen questions

*Patients 65 years of age or older can use MyChart to schedule their annual exam, also known as a health maintenance visit, for select primary care locations only. If you don’t see this visit type in MyChart, please call your clinic to schedule.

New patient visit

Your first visit with a new provider whom you’d like to be your primary source of medical care.

Adult physical (ages 18-64)*

Physical exam in which we review your medical history, order any necessary tests and screenings, and make a plan to keep you healthy.

Well-child visit (infants and youth up to age 18)

Routine visit to check your child’s growth and development, give appropriate vaccinations and perform sports physicals, as needed.

Health concern visit

Common health concerns may include, but are not limited to:

  • Asthma and seasonal allergies (hay fever)
  • Fevers and respiratory illnesses, such as colds, bronchitis, COVID-19, sinus infections and influenza (flu)
  • Screening, medications and refills for depression, anxiety and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Eye, ear and mouth infections, such as earaches, sore throat, cold sores, pink eye and styes
  • Injuries and pain, such as back pain, sprains, strains, headaches, migraines and minor burns
  • Vaccinations for flu, COVID-19, chicken pox, human papillomavirus (HPV), measles, mumps, rubella and more
  • Insect bites, such as head lice, spider bites and tick bites
  • Ongoing management (including checkups and medications refills) for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and arthritis
  • Smoking or tobacco cessation care including medication and nicotine replacement options
  • Sexual and reproductive health issues, such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs), birth control, urinary tract infections (UTIs), yeast infections and vaginal infections
  • Skin conditions, such as rashes, eczema, ringworm, shingles, athlete’s foot and acne
  • Stomach problems, such as diarrhea, constipation, acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn and nausea

Mammography online scheduling

Screening mammograms can be scheduled in most regions for eligible patients with a MyChart account.

Note: Diagnostic mammograms cannot be scheduled through MyChart. Please call to schedule your appointment.

Established patients who have a MyChart account can schedule their screening mammogram within MyChart. If you are a current patient but don’t have a MyChart account, learn how to set one up.

  1. Log in to your MyChart account or open your MultiCare MyChart mobile app
  2. From your MyChart home page, go to the Visits icon at the top of the screen and choose Schedule an appointment
  3. Select Screening mammogram then choose your preferred region
  4. Answer a few screening questions
  5. Select your preferred location
  6. Select the date and time that works for you from the list of appointments available
  7. Provide the requested information as prompted and select Schedule
  8. Once scheduled, you’ll have the option to add the appointment to your personal calendar

Yes, you can still call to schedule an appointment during business hours. MyChart scheduling is just another way MultiCare makes it easier to manage your health care, enabling you to schedule seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

If you’re having trouble accessing your MyChart account, please call MyChart customer service at 844-388-2356.  Customer service is available to support you Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.

Medical weight loss online scheduling

Online scheduling is currently only available for patients booking in the south Puget Sound region.

For new patients seeking initial appointments with our medical weight loss providers, follow these steps:

  1. Find a provider who is accepting new patients and offers online scheduling
  2. Select the Schedule Online button from their profile
  3. Select Book Now and answer on-screen questions to schedule a new patient appointment

Sign in to MultiCare MyChart to schedule and manage your medical weight loss appointments at your convenience. Returning patients can schedule with their provider, dietitian or psychologist for in-person or virtual visits.

Follow these steps to schedule your appointment:

  1. Log in to MyChart
  2. Navigate to Schedule an appointment
  3. Select either the provider’s name or Medical Weight Loss from the list of options
  4. Answer on-screen questions and confirm your information to schedule an appointment

Urgent care and emergencies

If you or your family need more immediate care, visit one of our many convenient urgent care clinics or schedule a virtual urgent care visit. For more significant injuries or illness, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
