Nicholas Kennedy, MD

Nicholas Kennedy, MD is an orthopedic surgeon in Yakima, WA who specializes in sports medicine and knee surgery. He is a member of Orthopedics Northwest and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and Pacific Northwest University. Dr. Kennedy has a passion for treating patients with knee injuries and helping get them back to the activities that they love and the lifestyle they desire.

During a year of research at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO, Nick realized he had an extreme passion for injuries, biomechanics and surgical treatments of the knee. After obtaining his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University, he went on to train at the Mayo Clinic where he learned from world experts and leaders in his field.

Before coming back to the Yakima Valley, Dr. Kennedy further solidified his knowledge of complex knee injury and surgery at Twin Cities Orthopedics in Minnesota where he also was able to gain experience as a team physician for the St. Paul Saints and the Minnesota Twins. He now proudly serves the greater Yakima Valley and Washington State helping to bring excellence in Orthopedics to everyone he encounters.
