Private Childbirth Preparation (Puget Sound Region)
Congratulations — you’re having a baby! We’re excited to be part of this special journey with you. We want to provide the support and guidance you need as you prepare to welcome your little one into the world.
In this three-hour class, you’ll meet one on one with a childbirth educator to get your questions answered so you can feel empowered and prepared for childbirth.
The material covered in the class is customizable. Some topic ideas you may consider include:
- The stages of labor
- Breathing techniques
- Natural comfort measures
- Pain medication options
- Medical procedures
- Cesarean and vaginal births
- Postpartum recovery
- Newborn care
- Breastfeeding
Partners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost.
Eligible participants can receive a $25 reimbursement after registering for one paid childbirth class and two additional paid family education classes (in person, on demand or live virtual). Contact 253-403-7586 or [email protected] to receive reimbursement upon completion of your three classes.
