The only complaint about Dr. Chen is that I asked him NOT to refill my 10mg lisinopril, because my primary care physician switched me to 5mg tablets that I don't have to split, but he did it anyway.

He didn't seem to listen, mostly talked over me. He was nice enough but I didn't feel heard.

Dr. Chen was kind and concerned. He answered all my questions.

Nurse or pa was very good, dr seemed less interested in many of my family history

Doctor used lots of technical terms, did not always understand him

Dr. Chen is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a Cardiologist because he's knowledgeable in his profession and he's genuinely concerned about your health and wellness.

Dr. Chen is a wonderful listener and welcomes questions that I might have.

Provider is excellent. Listened to me from start to finish.

He was going through my last hospital visit but could not explain fully to me about my results or what they meant so I could understand specifically about a test at recent hospital stay something about breast artifact when I said I don't understand he said you don't know what an artifact is?? I gave him an example and he went on without further being able to explain other than it's different for men

I like Dr. Chen but on this day he seemed in a hurry and did not explain certain questions I had regarding my received my chart, but rather was a bit annoyed and told me to ignore the my chart and listen to him.

I have been Dr. Chen's patient for 13 years. He is very good, and that why I did not change doctor.

Dr. Chen is very thorough and helped me understand any concerns or questions I had.

I feel as though the doctor did not listen to me or listen to my concerns I felt very dismissed

Dr. Chen is a good Dr, but extremely hard to understand and as I get older my hearing is harder unless the person talks at me, Dr. Chen needs to work harder on this issue.

Dr. Chen did not ask any pertinent questions about my lifestyle or my goals for my life going forward and activities that I participate in. I do not feel he made an effort to get to know me and help guide me on my healthcare decisions

Dr Chen has always been caring, friendly and speaks and explains all need very well.

I have recommended majority of my family to Dr. Chen and several of my clients. He is amazing, kind and compassionate towards his patient. Please don't try to find fault in him because you'll waste your time. I am a caregiver for many seniors and they all love him and so do I.

Dr.Chen is ALWAYS friendly..patient..listens..does not chastise..but will verbalize things I need to improve on, for my own care. He appreciates any pertinent files..info..tests that might pertain to my care..especially recent ones..that can eliminate the need to duplicate information and billing. All around great Doctor.

There were no comments on the after visit summary as to what results he talked about. He was very rude! I need to find a new doctor.

It would be nice to have a printout of each of my incidents instead of just a broad explanation in my chart. The doctor did look them up and took a little extra time which was nice.

I appreciated that Dr. Chen was a good listener. He was patient and thorough.

While on one hand I realize Dr Chen is an excellent cardiologist, on the other hand I don't feel I'm actually listened to or involved in decision making.

At some point it was hard to understand the doctor

Since this appointment was made for me, I wasn't sure about its purpose (blood tests vs vital signs vs further instructions vs answering my questions). I prepared a set of questions. When I told Dr. Chen I had some questions, he motioned me to go ahead. He answered my first question tersely, and then seemed quite annoyed that I had several more. He answered two, misunderstood one, gave no response to one(!), was vague with another, and gave a reason why he would not answer another.

My first visit with Dr. Peter Chen could not have been better!!

I am not a doctor so need better explanation in English.
