TACOMA, Wash. – MultiCare Medical Associates today announced the opening of a new 3,600-square-foot primary care clinic in Puyallup. The new facility provides patients in East Pierce County with increased access to care providers treating common family medical conditions including maternity care.
The new clinic, called MultiCare Primary Care Puyallup, is located at 220 15th Avenue SE, Suite B in Puyallup and will initially staff two family medicine obstetricians and grow to six full-time providers. The facility is conveniently located near MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital and provides patients of the new clinic with nearby access to lab and imaging services, pharmacy and other medical specialists.
“Our goal is to become a trusted medical home-base for families living in the Puyallup and East Pierce County areas,” said Dr. Veronica Hooper, Physician Executive of Primary Care at MultiCare. “We’re not only dedicated to creating the safest possible care environment for patients on-site, but also making virtual appointments available for those who don’t require in-person care.”
The new clinic is the latest example of MultiCare’s commitment to providing patients with care that’s close to home. MultiCare currently operates more than 30 primary care clinics in communities across the South Puget Sound region.
