BLACK DIAMOND, Wash. – MultiCare Health System will soon be breaking ground on a new primary care clinic in Black Diamond, officials announced today. Construction on the 5,500-square-foot clinic begins this summer and is scheduled for completion in December 2021.
The new clinic, to be called MultiCare Family Medicine – Black Diamond, will be located at 30711 3rd Ave. and staff six family medicine providers. Patients at the new clinic will also have access to on-site laboratory services and dedicated patient parking.
“Our goal is to bring comprehensive primary care closer to home for individuals and families living in Black Diamond,” said Veronica Hooper, DO, Physician Executive of Primary Care at MultiCare. “In the past, many residents have had to travel outside the community to find the care they need. Now they can find it locally.”
The new clinic is the latest example of MultiCare’s commitment to providing patients with care that’s close to home. MultiCare currently operates more than 30 primary care clinics in communities across the South Puget Sound region.
