MultiCare hosts ‘Rebound Spokane’ on June 26

SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare Health System announced today that they will host a pop-up vaccine clinic on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from noon to 5pm.

In partnership with Hooptown USA, and the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation, the Rebound Spokane event will be held on the North Bank of Riverfront Park in conjunction with the grand opening of the MultiCare-sponsored Hooptown USA basketball courts.

MultiCare will provide the Pfizer COVID vaccine, that is available for people aged 12 and over. The first dose will be administered at the event and a MultiCare Rockwood Clinic free of charge.

Also, a $50 gift card incentive will be provided by WA Department of Commerce via Association of Washington Businesses (AWB), Greater Spokane Inc. and Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout the afternoon, hoopers can put their basketball skills to the test with a three-point contest, a hot shot contest, and a free throw contest. Winners will receive a variety of Hoopfest prizes, including the 2021 official Hoopfest basketball.

In addition to the vaccine team, MultiCare will have dedicated experts to answer any questions about the vaccine. Appointments are not necessary for this event.
