Credits: 2 continuing education hours (.2 CEUs) clock hours available upon request
Audience: Educators, PTAs, OT, COTAs, SLPs, and assistants; and other professionals who work with children and teens.
This two‑hour recorded webinar is designed for educators, therapists, and other professionals who work with children. The course explores how Sensory Processing, Floortime, and Social Thinking can be used together to support children with special needs. It takes an integrated look at common challenges, including sensory processing differences, emotional developmental delays, and social thinking delays.
When these three approaches are combined and used in the clinic, at home, at school, and in the community, children and families gain practical strategies that can be used across settings and over time. Together, these models help support positive thinking, appropriate behavior, and better social decision‑making.
This approach can benefit a wide range of children, including those with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing differences, speech and language delays, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental delays.
