August Teen Sibshop
Teen Sibshop is back! Join us for an evening of food, fun and connection.
Do you have a brother or sister with a disability, chronic illness, or special healthcare needs? Have you ever felt like you're the only one who understands what it's like to have a sibling with unique challenges? If so, Teen Sibshop is for you!
Come enjoy pizza, games, activities and time with other teens who share similar experiences. Teen Sibshop brings all the fun of traditional Sibshops, while offering activities and discussions designed specifically for teens.
Who can attend?
Teen Sibshops are designed for typically developing teens ages 12-18 who have a sibling with a disability, chronic illness, complex medical condition or other special needs.
Participants have the opportunity to connect with peers, participate in engaging activities and celebrate the important role they play in their families.
At Teen Sibshop, participants can:
- Connect with other teens who understand their family experiences
- Share feelings, challenges and successes in a supportive environment
- Learn helpful coping and communication skills
- Participate in games, crafts, recreation and group activities
- Build friendships and have fun
- Celebrate the unique and important role they play in their families

Registration is required to attend. A $10 participation fee applies. If the fee presents a financial hardship, a limited number of scholarships are available. Please contact [email protected] with any questions or to request scholarship assistance.
