Four-week Childbirth Preparation Series (Puyallup)
Congratulations — you’re having a baby! We’re excited to be part of this special journey with you. We want to provide the support and guidance you need as you prepare to welcome your little one into the world.
Our childbirth preparation classes offer comprehensive information to help you feel empowered and prepared for childbirth and beyond.
We’ll cover:
- The stages of labor
- Breathing techniques
- Natural comfort measures
- Pain medication options
- Cesarean and vaginal births
- Postpartum recovery
- Breastfeeding
- Newborn care
This series will meet the first night, 6/1 in-person at Good Samaritan Hospital to tour the birth center and cover labor coping techniques. The following three classes on 6/8, 6/15 & 6/22 will meet on Teams. The event link will be sent to you via email. Each class will meet from 6:00-8:30 PM. (Class 1 may run a little longer due to the tour)
Partners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost.
Provider One cards are accepted.
Eligible participants can receive a $25 reimbursement after registering for one paid childbirth class and two additional paid family education classes (in person, on demand or live virtual). Contact 253-403-7586 or [email protected] to receive reimbursement upon completion of your three classes.
