Hybrid In-Person and Virtual 4-Week Childbirth Class at Good Samaritan Hospital
4-Week Childbirth Series - This class series covers birth, comfort techniques, medications for birth, cesarean birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and newborn care. You will have an opportunity to meet other expectant parents, have class discussions and ask your childbirth instructor questions. The first night of this series will meet at Good Samaritan Hospital to tour the birth center and cover labor coping techniques. The remaining three classes will meet virtually on Teams. The class link will be sent to you after your first class. Class will meet from 6:30-9:00 PM each week.
Who Should Enroll: Enroll mother-to-be only, ages 11 and up. Partners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost. Please do not bring children to class.

Parking Notes: Park in the visitor and patient parking garage at the 15th Ave entrance. The Family Birth Center Classroom is located near the Family Birth Center Lobby.
Class/Event Fee: $140.00 or Pregnant person's active Provider One Card number.

Fee Notes: Payment required at the time of enrollment. Provider One Cards are accepted for this class.
Supply Notes: Please bring water bottles, snacks, notebook, and pen. Feel free to bring a lunch for day long classes, food is also available for purchase in our hospitals. Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow movement during class.
Class/Event Refund Policy: Please call to cancel if you are unable to attend. Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the first class begins, a $15.00 handling fee will be retained by MultiCare.
Inclement Weather Policy: We will notify those enrolled if class is canceled.
Couples Enrollment Policy: A class registrant may attend alone but can feel free to bring a partner at no additional charge.
