Sensory Integration (Professionals)
This 2 hour Recorded Webinar course is for Educators, Therapists, and other Professionals working with children. This course is designed to help you gain a better understanding of Sensory Integration and how it affects the child’s daily life.
You will learn basic therapeutic approaches that are used to treat sensory integration dysfunction, thereby improving the child's participation in daily life activities. These intervention techniques involve parent and child coaching, direct one to one intervention, home programming and parent self-study.
Objectives:
- Participants will have an understanding of sensory integration.
- Participants will have an understanding of how sensory integration affects their child's daily life.
- Participants will have an understanding of therapeutic approaches that may be used to treat sensory integrations dysfunction.
Audience:
Educators, OTs, certified occupational therapists, COTAs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs and assistants, as well as other Professionals working with children and teens.
COST:
$50
$45/person with Groups of 3 - 7 people (you must register together to receive the discount)
$35/person for Groups of 8 or more (you must register together to receive the discount)
Continuing Education:
2 Education Continuing Hours/Clock hours (.2 CEUs) are included in registration. Clock Hours also available upon request at no additional charge.
Professionals will complete a post test with a passing score of 70% or better prior to receiving a certificate.
