Addiction Medicine Fellowship
The MultiCare Addiction Medicine Fellowship offers a comprehensive one-year ACGME-accredited training for physicians (with an emphasis on Family Physicians and Obstetrics) passionate about providing high-quality integrated care to people with substance use and dependence. In addition to Addiction Medicine training, this fellowship provides experience and skill-development working as junior faculty within a thriving community-based residency program. The program is in Puyallup, Washington with primary clinical sites at MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine and Good Samaritan Hospital.
Our program provides an in-depth experience caring for many different populations, with an emphasis on the care of pregnant people with addiction. Graduates have gone on to provide addiction medicine care in a variety of roles including full-spectrum family medicine in group practice and in FQHC settings, faculty work, and as OTP medical director.

Puyallup is situated at the foot of scenic Mount Rainier in the beautiful Puget Sound region 10 miles east of Tacoma and approximately 35 miles south of Seattle.
