Treatment for hearing disorders and balance problems
Our hearing specialists at MultiCare Rockwood Clinic Audiology diagnose and non-medically treat hearing disorders and balance problems for both adults and children. Hearing loss is the third most common health problem in the United States. In fact, more than 31 million Americans have some type of hearing problem. We determine treatment by completing a patient history and doing specialized hearing and inner ear assessments. We also provide individual counseling to help those with hearing loss to function more efficiently.

Our audiology services
Our audiologists are highly trained in treating hearing impairment and delivering the latest in hearing aid technology. To determine the best course of treatment, we take a complete health history and perform a number of specialized auditory and vestibular assessments. When hearing loss is caused by medical problems, we work closely with ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists and other medical professionals to design a treatment plan. Our services include:
- Individual counseling to help those suffering hearing loss to function more efficiently
- Balance testing
- Auditory brain stem (ABR) testing
- Otoacoustic emission (OAE) testing for infants and young children
- Therapy for all ages including newborns
- Sale and repair of hearing aids
