MultiCare accepting Community Partnership Fund applications for Inland Northwest region

SPOKANE – MultiCare Inland Northwest is now accepting applications for its Community Partnership Fund to support local non-profits that aim to improve population health in the region.

The MultiCare Community Partnership Fund provides financial support to select not-for-profit organizations in nine Washington and Idaho counties. The fund is part of MultiCare’s efforts towards building meaningful partnerships that enhance the health and vitality of our community in areas such as health improvement, economic well-being, and education.

The application deadline is April 30 and applications can be found here.

Last year, 29 local organizations were selected and received grants ranging from $5,000 – $25,000. Those organizations included Family Promise of Spokane, Women Helping Women Fund, and 2nd Harvest Inland Northwest. A complete list of 2018 recipients can be found here.

“The Community Partnership Fund supports our mission of partnering for healing and a healthy future,” said Chris Wherity, Director of Community Outreach for MultiCare Health System in the Inland Northwest. “We are committed to collaborating with organizations that are focused on improving the quality of life for all of our neighbors right here in the Inland Northwest.”

Eligible organizations must operate in Spokane, Pend Orielle, Stevens, Ferry, Lincoln, Grant, Adams, and Whitman counties in Washington, or Kootenai County in Idaho. Grants will be awarded in part based on whether the project or organization:

  • Serves a broad range of community members
  • Addresses an important need in the community
  • Provides a significant and measurable impact
  • Aligns with MultiCare’s mission
