SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare announced today that the annual Bridge to Brunch 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021, as a virtual event.

Registration for all ages is $25. Proceeds will be donated to the Community Cancer Fund, a local nonprofit agency dedicated to the fight against cancer for patients in the Inland Northwest.

Participants will be mailed a packet that will include the commemorative 2021 Bridge to Brunch beanie hat, runner’s bib and more. To register for the event, visit multicare.org/bridge-to-brunch.

To reduce the spread of COVID-19, MultiCare wants to do their part to keep the community safe and will host Bridge to Brunch virtually.

“Although we won’t be able to hold an in-person event this year, we want to continue the tradition of this fun, family event, for a good cause,” said MultiCare’s Senior Vice President Dr. David O’Brien. “We are proud to partner with the Community Cancer Fund for all of the wonderful work they do for cancer patients right here in the Inland Northwest.”

Participants are encouraged to take pictures and share them on social media platforms using the hashtag #BridgetoBrunch21 or email them to [email protected].
