MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation’s annual concert to benefit vulnerable newborns

SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation announced today that its annual benefit concert, Heart Strings, will return on April 29, 2022 at 8pm at the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox.

Musicians performing at the live in-person event will include Joe Nichols, Cam, Andy Griggs and Frank Ray. The concert, which will be hosted by Grammy award-winner Bryan White, will raise funds to support MultiCare Deaconess Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Babies born prematurely or with serious health problems receive treatment in the NICU, and in 2021, 336 babies were admitted to the unit.

Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased by visiting multicareheartstrings.org.

“With the generous support of our community, the funds from Heart Strings will help elevate the level of care and expand access to care for the tiniest and most vulnerable patients in our region,” said Carolyn Kadyk, executive director for MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation.

All four musicians will perform on stage together, sharing stories behind their music in the tradition of a “Guitar Pull.”

Multi-platinum Quartz Hill Records artist Joe Nichols has been nominated for three Grammys, tallied six number-one singles and ten Top 10 hits, as well as multiple gold and platinum-certified records. Nichols just released his long-awaited new album, Good Day For Living.  The 13-song collection features the current single and title track, spinning at country radio now.

Acclaimed pop country singer/songwriter Cam has earned widespread acclaim for her Grammy-nominated, Triple Platinum-certified song, “Burning House.” Her current single, “Till There’s Nothing Left,” has over 55 million streams worldwide.

Rounding out the lineup will be Griggs — who’s charted three number-one country singles — and up-and-coming artist Ray, whose 2021 single, “Country’d Look Good On You,” was the most added song on country radio by a new artist last year.
