Corks & Crush event set for May 20

Funds support MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital

TACOMA, Wash. — Corks & Crush is an annual fundraiser for the MultiCare Good Samaritan Foundation, which benefits patients of MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. The gala will take place on Saturday, May 20, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Washington State Fair Events Center. The evening features wine tasting, live music, an elegant dinner and an auction.

Proceeds from Corks & Crush will ensure access to critical health care services at Good Samaritan Hospital. The hospital’s emergency department is one of the busiest in the state and it’s critical to provide multiple access points to care in a rapidly growing area like East Pierce County.

“Big projects at not-for-profit hospitals cannot be done solely with hospital funds. We need the help of the community to make it what it needs to be,” said Jason Stone, MD, Corks & Crush co-chair. “Puyallup is a small city, but our radius of patients reaches far beyond that.”

Tickets for Corks & Crush are now available and can be purchased online at corksandcrush.org. Early bird pricing ends April 15.
