TACOMA, Wash. — Elliot Stockstad has been named chief development officer of MultiCare Health System. He replaces Dori Young.
Stockstad joined MultiCare in 2021 as the executive director of the MultiCare Health Foundation. He has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and philanthropic leadership.
“We are incredibly grateful to Dori for her dedication to and success in advancing philanthropy at MultiCare over the last 13 years,” said Bill Robertson, MultiCare CEO. “Elliot brings a deep understanding of our community and his extensive background in community engagement makes him the right person to move our foundations forward as she steps away from this work. I’m confident that his vision and expertise will build upon and elevate the strong philanthropic organization already in place at MultiCare.”
Prior to joining MultiCare, Stockstad served as chief development officer at Habitat for Humanity, Tacoma-Pierce County, as well as at Lutheran Community Services Northwest — one of the largest health and human services nonprofits in the Pacific Northwest.

Former chief development officer Young will remain with MultiCare through July 3.
