TACOMA, Wash. — MultiCare Health System is partnering with Tellica Imaging, an Intermountain Health company, to bring affordable, high-quality medical imaging services — including CT and MRI scans — to patients in the Puget Sound.
Tellica Imaging and MultiCare will open three new facilities on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Auburn, Bremerton and Tacoma. They’ll be open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Specific locations include:
- MultiCare Tellica Imaging – Auburn, 421 E. Main St.
- MultiCare Tellica Imaging – Bremerton, 4207 Wheaton Way
- MultiCare Tellica Imaging – Tacoma, 2941 S. 38th St
The new MultiCare Tellica centers will accept most insurance plans by early 2026 and flat-rate pricing for all imaging services. The diagnostic imaging appointment includes fellowship-trained radiologist interpretation, lab work and intravenous contrast, as needed.
“Given the high cost of health care for many patients, our goal is to create an affordable diagnostic imaging solution for our patients,” said Tim Lynch, PharmD, MS, FABC, FASHP, FWSPA, SVP and chief administrative officer with MultiCare. “Tellica Imaging provides a high-touch, easily accessible retail experience.”
Tellica Imaging is part of Intermountain Health; a not-for-profit health system headquartered in Utah. Tellica currently has imaging facilities in Utah, Idaho and New Hampshire. The three new locations will be their first facilities in Washington state.
“At Tellica Imaging, we are committed to access, affordability, quality and care,” said Brad Isaacson, president and chief operating officer of Tellica Imaging. “Our imaging centers won’t just help patients, but it can also relieve the backlog of appointments at local hospitals for providers.”
