TACOMA, Wash. — Brandon Mencini has been named president of MultiCare Auburn and MultiCare Covington medical centers and market leader for South King County. He joins MultiCare Health System from Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital in southern Oregon, where he served as chief executive officer.
Mencini will be responsible for building out MultiCare’s South King strategy and the overall performance of both medical centers. He’ll also be in charge of driving sustainable growth, enhancing patient care and building high-performing teams.
“Brandon’s operational expertise, strategic mindset and people-first leadership style will be a tremendous asset to our teams in Auburn and Covington,” said Tim Holmes, MultiCare chief executive of the South Sound Region. “His ability to lead complex organizations, build strong teams and drive meaningful results make him an ideal fit for this role.”
Prior to Asante, Mencini served as CEO at Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado. He also served as chief operating officer at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Mencini earned his master’s in health administration from Webster University.

Mencini’s first day at MultiCare was Monday, Nov. 3.
