Tariq Salam, MD, FACC, FHRS, is board certified in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology (heart rhythm services). He treats all aspects of heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Salam’s clinical interests are radiation-free ablation, complex device management and heart rhythm research. In his free time, he runs marathons and is an avid cyclist. He loves the outdoors and tries to escape into the beautiful Pacific Northwest wilderness whenever he can.

    This was not a virtual visit. This was an in person with Dr. Salam. This was my "final" (3-month) followup with Dr. Salam after having a heart procedure in late September. He answered all my questions and laid out a plan reducing the possibility / keeping me from going into Afib again in the future. We also reviewed all my medications and we discussed their value, dose and affect on my condition.The entire process from detection of Afib to this "final" followup could not have been better. Dr. Salam is a Super Star and leads a Super Star team.Then he again demonstrated his thoroughness by having me setup appointments to have my heart monitored for several days in a few months then another followup to review those results. I am in really good hands!

    Dr. Salam explained the procedure succinctly, answered my questions and also used a tablet with photos to review the procedure clearly, including risk, success rate and recover process. Once we decided to proceed, he reviewed the scheduling process and time frames.
