MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation’s Annual Research Day is a fun, engaging opportunity for researchers and scientists to showcase their community-based research and quality improvement projects. It is a chance to network with other community and academic researchers who share a passion for advancing health through research. Enjoy presentations from community researchers, research participants and allied health care professionals on work in progress and completed work as well as quality improvement projects and community and patient partnerships.

Annual Research Awards
The day will conclude with the announcement of our annual research awards:
Diane Cecchettini Excellence in Research Award
The award is given annually to the individual or individuals whose research efforts best exemplify and further the vision and mission of MultiCare. The award recognizes exceptional leadership and research discovery in medicine and science on the local, national, and international level. This award will recognize interdisciplinary teams working collaboratively to advance medical science and patient care, and those developing best leadership practices to improve patient care and safety. It will also recognize individuals who make significant and lasting contributions to the field of health services research.
Outstanding Research Investigator of the Year
This award is given to an outstanding research investigator for their body of work, impact on patient care, and research leadership. This award takes into consideration the high level of commitment and work required in community-based research.
