Prostate Care

The prostate is a reproductive gland, about the size of a walnut, that sits beneath the bladder. The gland produces fluid that transports sperm from the testicles out of the body when you ejaculate. Sometimes symptoms arise that indicate a problem with the health of the prostate, particularly as we age.

Those symptoms can include:

  • Difficulty starting or maintaining the urine stream
  • Sudden increase in the need to urinate, particularly at night
  • Weak or slow urine stream
  • Pain while urinating or ejaculating
  • Pain in the penis or scrotum area
  • Blood in urine or semen
