Denise Mitchell, ARNP, is an oncology nurse practitioner with experience in adult medical oncology. She is a current member of the Oncology Nursing Society and a member of the Puget Sound Oncology Nursing Society. She has previously taught several ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy courses and published an article on Breast Cancer and Vitamin D in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her husband and three children on their small farm in Olympia.

    Denise is truly one of a kind! She is personable and genuinely in tuned to me and my health issues as an individual person We have been together for years and she respects me and also respects that I am aware of how my body is feeling. She is always there to listen and to recommend a game play if need be. I trust her- my body trusts her! Unfortunately, there are MANY other healthcare providers that are getting burned out of what they are doing because of how poorly other providers are being treated by the institution that they work for (it's a sad, sad shame)Luckily, I feel, Denise is just as caring and committed as the first time I saw her!She is a blessing to Multicare
