Continuing Medical Education (CME)
MultiCare Health System’s Department of Continuing Medical Education (MHS CME) is accredited with commendation by the Washington State Medical Association.
This is the highest level of recognition in the accreditation process and allows a six-year term as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.
The mission of the MHS CME program is to provide relevant educational activities to physicians, other primary providers and allied health professionals in Washington State in order to maintain and enhance knowledge, competence and performance.
Electronic Education Documentation System (eeds)
eeds is MultiCare’s comprehensive CME platform that allows learners to effortlessly earn and report CE credits and those leading CME activities to develop and manage their activities.

With eeds, learners can:
- View and self-register for CME activities
- Receive activity-related emails
- Manage and track CME hours
- Record attendance
- Complete activity evaluations
- Get certificates and transcripts instantaneously
- Access activity materials online from participating planners and speakers
With eeds, education providers can:
- Submit CME proposals/applications
- Collect planner and faculty disclosure forms
- Generate activity flyers
- Obtain activity reports upon demand
- Transmit data to licensing and certifying boards if applicable
