MultiCare’s general surgeons provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment related to general surgery health conditions. Many of our surgeons are fellowship trained in advanced disciplines. They use surgical techniques that include minimally invasive procedures, specialized equipment (such as the da Vinci® robotic surgical system by Intuitive) and laparoscopic procedures.

Our surgeons work closely with other medical professionals (such as anesthesiologists) and collaborate with patients’ referring physicians to provide an individualized and comprehensive surgical experience.

Our surgeons operate at MultiCare Allenmore Hospital, Tacoma General Hospital, Gig Harbor Surgery Center, and Baker Center.

Advanced robotic technology

• Allenmore Hospital features the da Vinci Xi for our experienced surgeons to use.
• Tacoma General Hospital features the da Vinci 5, Xi and SP for our experienced surgeons to use.

Center of Excellence: MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital has achieved accreditation from Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery.

Directions & parking

• This clinic is located in the C Building of the Allenmore Hospital campus. There is free valet parking located in Lot B, located in the Southwest portion of the Allenmore campus. Valet parking is available from 6:30am to 6:30pm.
