Amy Ford, MD received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biophysics at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, and her medical degree at the University of Colorado, outside of Denver, CO. She completed her five-year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Loyola University Medical Center, outside of Chicago, IL.

Dr. Ford completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She is a Candidate Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Orthopaedic Trauma Association.

Her Orthopaedic practice specializes in Orthopaedic Trauma, which involves the surgical and nonsurgical management of injuries and fractures of the pelvis and extremities, including periarticular fractures. She is also specialized in the treatment of malunions, nonunions, and fracture-related infections.

Outside of work, Dr. Ford enjoys spending time with her husband and golden retriever, staying active outdoors, exploring different cuisines and cultures, and appreciating the creative arts.
