Christopher Godbout, MD, is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. His expertise and clinical interests are in nonsurgical interventional pain management of complex disabling spinal, peripheral joint and musculoskeletal disorders.

Dr. Godbout provides a wide range of modern, effective and minimally-invasive pain management therapies, including:

  • Epidural steroid injections in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions
  • Transforaminal steroid delivery and selective nerve root blockade
  • Facet joint and medical branch nerve injections
  • Lumbar provocative discography
  • Radiofrequency neuroablation
  • Sympathetic plexus blockade

Practice Philosophy: Prior to becoming a physician, I was a patient that suffered from sports injuries requiring medical attention. I know the fear, concerns and effect that pain has on quality of life and relationships. I have dedicated my career to providing the highest quality of care, combining innovative pain management therapies, advanced diagnostic tests and compassion, to create the most effective patient/physician relationship. My focus is to diagnose and eliminate the source of pain and help my patients maximize their functional abilities.
