Melanie Chong, MD, FACAAI

Melanie Chong, MD, FACAAI, is board certified in allergy / immunology and internal medicine. Dr. Chong uses both evidence-based medicine and the social aspects of care to improve her patients’ quality of life. She is a strong advocate for preventive medicine, which includes vaccinations for all patients. 

Dr. Chong enjoys reading novels and working out. In her free time, she can typically be found with her family at the pool, the playground or traveling to Vancouver, BC for dim sum.

Allergy and Immunology is an ever-changing field with new targeted therapies and research. It is rewarding to be able to offer better therapies to my patients so they can live as uninterrupted of a life as possible. I also love being able to help both children and adults and enjoy the opportunity to build a relationship with the whole family.

It’s important for my patients and their caregivers to understand their medical conditions so they can make the best possible decisions. I focus on both evidence-based medicine and the social aspects of care to improve my patients’ quality of life.
