Priyanka Kawali, MD, FAAP

Priyanka Kawali, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician practicing general pediatrics. Dr. Kawali supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Kawali promotes and follows the Center for Disease Control's immunization schedule.

Outside the office, Dr. Kawali stays active by hiking, traveling and exploring new places. She loves spending time with her daughter and also enjoys watching movies.

I chose to work in pediatrics because caring for kids of all ages and seeing them grow makes me happy. I love the uniqueness of pediatrics — that I get to meet not only my patients, but also their families, and have the opportunity to understand them as one unit.

Today's kids are tomorrow's future. I enjoy working with my patients and their families to help create a better community and future. I strongly believe that prevention is the key to good health. With the help of medical knowledge, I empower my patients and their parents to make the best decisions about their health. My parents always taught me that kindness goes a long way and I try to apply that advice in my practice every day.
