She identified my dx immediately and described and explained every pain symptom I had. She was never dismissive of my pain. We discussed my plan of care and what to do for my follow up actions. I feel lucky I was seen by Dr. Kim during this appointment.

Our doctor was excellent. Due to a scheduling error by the phone scheduler, we showed up and our appointment didn't exist we were told. They saw we needed to have our newborn seen that day and our doctor took time out of her busy day to squeeze us in. Not only that, but she took her time and answered all of our questions and left us feeling very at ease by the end of our appointment.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kim's attentiveness and concern. She was very comprehensive and listened well. This was my first visit with her and I was very happy to have found her.

This was a horrible experience for me. I am a new mom, my daughter is only 4 months old. I was told by my midwife to go find a PCP due to me being on the verge of gestational hypertension while pregnant. I do not have high blood pressure normally. So I was told to come in and see someone to get it checked out/see if I still have high BP. Helen Kim BARELY talked about my BP, which was great yesterday, and proceeded to talk about how shameful it is that I combo feed my baby. I have a low milk supply and I'm working diligently with a laceration consultant & my daughters pediatrician to get it back up, but we need to supplement with formula in order for her to be healthy. Dr. Kim told me that I should try harder to breastfeed exclusively and when I told her I did for over a month and my daughter lost weight she just said hmmmm and acted like I lied to her. I have never felt more shame as a new mom from a doctor than I did with Helen Kim. I will not be back to see her and I would never recommend her to anyone. She also Compared her experience of being a new mom, almost 30 years ago, to me. We are not built the same nor are the practices the same now.
