Empower yourself with information you can trust
Being diagnosed with cancer can lead to feelings of vulnerability. But understanding what’s going on inside your body can be a source of healing and empowerment.
That’s why we offer the Katterhagen Cancer Resource Center in Tacoma and the Good Samaritan Cancer Resource Center in Puyallup. Both centers are open to patients, families and anyone looking for cancer-related information.
Other resources for patients and families include:
Patient orientation program
Currently offered at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, this program:
- Introduces our cancer care services and care team
- Shares information about financial services
- Discusses support and resources available during treatment
- Provides education about chemotherapy, radiation therapy and cancer rehabilitation
