Holly Thomason French, CNM

Holly Thomason French (she/her), CNM, is a board-certified nurse midwife providing services in reproductive health, obstetric and gynecological care, midwifery and gender affirming care. Prior to becoming a midwife, Holly worked as a registered nurse for fourteen years. She has had the opportunity to work in various backgrounds including emergency medicine, community health, trauma health and care, LGBT+ health and labor and delivery. Holly served in the US Peace Corps in Guyana, South America from 2014-2016. That experience broadened her perception of the midwifery scope and practice, and motivated her to move forward on the path to midwifery.

Away from work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family which includes her wife, three dogs and two cats. She also enjoys traveling and being active. You may find her at the gym, playing roller derby or hiking on a local trail.

• Nexplanon insertions, removals and replacements

• TOLAC/VBAC (trial of labor after Cesarean and vaginal birth after Cesarean)
• Pap smear
• Endometrial biopsy
• Skin / Vulva biopsy
• Clinical breast exam
• Gender affirming hormone therapy

I have a passion for full spectrum reproductive health. Whether a person's goal is to understand their bodies better, prevent pregnancy, start a family or something else – I want to help people on their reproductive health journey. I'm excited to have joined the MultiCare team, a community-based practice dedicated to providing quality care to all people in Gig Harbor and the surrounding areas. I'm here for it all!
